Metropolitan Opéra Live : El ultimo sueño de Frida y Diego

Saturday, 30 May 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at the Espace Culturel André Malraux in Cendrieux, delayed broadcast of Frank's EL ULTIMO SUENO DE FRIDA Y DIEGO from the Metropolitan Opera.

On the Day of the Dead, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera briefly relive their tumultuous love affair, embracing both passion and pain, before bidding a final farewell to the land of the living.
The season ends with American composer Gabriela Lena Frank's first opera: a magical-realist portrait of the painter couple Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, conceived as a reversal of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.

For the 2025-2026 season, the Confluence des Arts et des Savoirs association is offering nine selections from the Metropolitan Opera as part of its HD-Live broadcasts, as well as an evening tribute to Maria Callas.
