Été Actif : Atelier trompe-l’oeil appétissant

‘L’Été Actif’ is a programme of activities organised by the Dordogne Departmental Council in partnership with Grand Périgueux, with the ambitious aim of offering sport for everyone, everywhere in the Dordogne.

Using non-edible materials, you’ll work with artist Stéphanie Caillaud to create the most mouth-watering trompe l’oeil dishes. By experimenting with appetising textures, explore the interplay of materials – solid, liquid, powdery, spongy, rigid, flexible, crispy and soft – depending on the dishes you’ve chosen. Explore your own culinary world, which will ultimately take the form of a main course and a dessert. The entire piece created as a duo will be captured in a photograph. Don’t forget to bring a smock, apron or old T-shirt, and a snack. Ages 7 to 12, working in pairs.
