The Grand Périgueux Inter-municipal Tourist Office, in partnership with SNCF Voyageurs and the Isle Vern Salembre Community of Communes, invites you to discover the Périgord in an eco-friendly way!
At Périgueux, Boulazac or Niversac station, board the Nouvelle-Aquitaine TER trains for a guided getaway to discover the treasures of the Isle Valley, heading towards Saint-Astier.

Accompanied by a tour guide during the train journey, you’ll learn about the history of the Dordogne railway and take in the magnificent scenery of the Isle Valley.
A half-day guided tour of the old town, which owes its name and development to Astérius, renowned for his wisdom and for healing a mysterious princess.
