La Bohème – Opéra
Giacomo Puccini?s La Bohème, first performed in 1896, is an opera based on Henri Murger?s novel Scènes de la vie de bohème.
Set in the Latin Quarter of Paris, the work describes the daily lives of young artists living in precarious conditions. The story follows the relationship between the poet Rodolfo and Mimi, a seamstress, treating the themes of passion and tragedy in a setting with universal appeal.
