Nuages en formation – Exposition de SLEM

From January 9 to 30, 2026, the town of Trélissac will be hosting the "Nuages en formation" exhibition by painter SLEM, on view in the entrance hall of the town hall.

SLEM, an artist from Gironde, has developed a pictorial practice centered on the sky, the horizon and clouds, recurring motifs that structure his entire body of work. Through these elements, he proposes a reflection on the perception of landscape and on the boundary between the real and the imaginary.

Light plays an essential role in his work, approached not as a mere visual effect, but as a sensitive experience. Each canvas invites attentive observation, combining poetic balance with the fragility of the natural world.

The cloud, at the heart of his universe, becomes a symbol of movement and contemporary instability.
