Fête des couteliers du Périgord

The Fête des couteliers du Périgord returns to Trélissac on Sunday February 22, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the Foyer socio-culturel (free admission). The event showcases the region?s emblematic craftsmanship and offers the public a chance to immerse themselves in the world of cutlery.

This year's event will feature 28 exhibitors, including 24 cutlers. Several newcomers to the Dordogne will be among the participants, including a young cutler - a sign of the renewal of a traditional craft that continues to attract new profiles.

Forging workshops and outdoor demonstrations will punctuate the event, with the participation of blacksmiths, allowing visitors to observe the gestures and stages of metal transformation. A sharpener will also be on hand to answer questions and offer practical advice.
