Atelier vitrail – Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art
As part of the European Artistic Crafts Days, and following on from the restoration of the stained-glass windows at Sainte-Marie-de-Chignac Church, the Grand Périgueux Tourist Office is organising a stained-glass workshop for children at the Truffle Ecomuseum in Sorges.
They will discover the art of stained glass, its origins and its uses, before creating their own colourful stained-glass piece.
For children aged 6 to 10. Limited to 10 children.
Workshop duration: 1 hour 15 minutes.
Alongside the workshop on 8 April, come and admire the work of artisans from the Grand Périgueux region, and be captivated by their meticulous craftsmanship on display in an exhibition running from 8 to 11 April at the Ecomuseum.
