Musée du Vin et de la Vigne Chai de Lardimalie

This wine cellar was built in 1902 by Ernest Minvielle, an architect native to Bordeaux. The spacious, bright building has the characteristics and size of the great wine cellars of the Médoc, and features a perfectly rationalized compartmentalisation of various wine-making activities, including spectacular compartments for oak casks - Sougine - and two side wings where wine was aged and stored.
